Android requires launcher icons in 6 densities: mdpi (48x48), hdpi (72x72), xhdpi (96x96), xxhdpi (144x144), xxxhdpi (192x192), and Play Store (512x512). Adaptive icons need larger canvas sizes: 108px to 432px per layer. Our generator creates all sizes automatically.

Yes. Switch to "iOS" or "Both" platform to generate all required iOS sizes: App Store (1024x1024), iPhone App (180x180 @3x), iPad App (167x167 @2x), Spotlight (120x120 @3x), Settings (87x87 @3x), and Notification (60x60 @3x) icons.

Adaptive icons (Android 8.0 Oreo+) consist of a separate foreground and background layer. The Android system applies different shapes (circle, squircle, rounded square, teardrop) based on device manufacturer. Our generator creates both ic_launcher_foreground and ic_launcher_background for all mipmap densities.

Use a high-resolution PNG (at least 512x512, ideally 1024x1024) with a transparent background for best results. Our tool also accepts JPG and SVG (up to 10MB). Output can be PNG or WebP format. The tool preserves transparency when the "Transparent" background option is selected.
